happy 41st birthday singapore.
national day celebrations in school were kinda cool, much better then last year's. the ip1 band was just horrible, really. they were jumping around so much they couldnt sing properly and missed some parts.

training in the afternoon. it was a 3 hr 30 min trng. long endurance trngs that incorperate sprints, technique, mileage, resistance really test one's limits, where you just keep rowing. rowed with dee in an apache yesterday, pacing with lina and sabu. the apache flew and i felt so good. every stroke was really hard, especially during the resistance. thank you dee!
trng ended really late and i had to rush to marina south for our class dinner! we got there so late that the fireworks even started before we could start cooking. oh yea, we were having a steamboat! we rushed to the big field with mer jumping up and down (= but the fireworks were very pretty and beautiful. everyone went oooh and aaaah. haha then we went back to have our buffet, which was pretty good. we were all afraid of having stomach upsets cos they only provided us with one pair of chopsticks each so raw and cooked food were all touched by the same chopsticks! hah but till now, no stomach upset! ooh our steamboat caught fire! hahaha that was hilairous. cos i split water on to the steamboat thingy and immediately this fire started. everyone was laughing and taking photos till weiliang the all sensible dude came and blew the fire out for us. we had only less than two hours there cos we got there so late. got a ride from jo and reached home 1130-ish.
