mum replied ages later: Yup I fell asleep while writing the earlier msg. Have fun and sleep early..
My mum is always falling alseep! ( refer to previous post) hahaha! Had a wonderful sleepover with theo. I cant believe that was the first time I went to her house in the many years that we've been friends! watched 'something the Lord made', talked.. and woke up at 1 the next day. Pigs. To think we wanted to run to her club and swim on sat. Lol!
Sun
Sleepover at nina's house! This time with all the girls except samirah and jiamin. I got lost walking to nina's house and it was so scary I was panicking and I wanted to cry. I took 25 min when i could have taken 10... Had fun with the girls playing star wars monopoly which was confusing because of all the funny names and not so fun because I had no property. Watched our ultimate favourite 'The parent trap' next. Its really a show that I can watch many times over. Love it! Ordered mac twister fries in the middle of the night to satisfy our cravings. Theo xiaoting lumpy and I just had to have twister fries so we did, 1 large fries each! Trying to ignore how much oil and fats we put into our bodies.. We then proceeded back up and fell asleep at varying times. I love the girls! Hanging out with them and having fun (: (:
Nina's really cool room where we have our sleepovers. It has a drumset, is soundproof, cosy and big enough for all of us! (sorry picture is from facebook, thus the size)

Spent the whole afternoon baking pineapple tarts! Hahahah. They are quite a failure, I'm sad to say. I'm kinda blaming the recipe, it was so lousy, didnt state the amount of time needed to heat, how to deal with the pineapple etc.. Thus I came up with not really pineapple tarts looking things. But, I think they're still nice la... haha!
Tues
Finding a job is seriously so hard unless you've got parents, aunties, uncles etc who can help. Everywhere takes ages to respond. And most do not. In the end, my dad had to help me too. I still really want to work at the hospitals, though there's the 6 month contract..
So today after the interview, I met up with theo for lunch at raffles to have lunch. The silly girl drew two maps of two different ways to walk from her office in tanjong pagar to raffles place to run the very many errands she has. Girls were giving out blister plasters which I gladly took after exclaiming 'oh yay plasters!' Probably the friendliest reponse they got from all the people hurrying past. My feet (in my mum's heels) were blistering and red by then. Met up with nina, ditched our be-proactive-and-ask-for-available-jobs-at-hospitals mission and headed back to nj to collect eagles and see the juniors. Saw the junior high uniform and I really dont like the double pleated skirt. Caught an ice cream with em than headed home. My bruised feet were dying to get out of those heels.
Sometimes I miss being in school, miss having BCME moments, miss 05ip04, miss hanging out at the canoeing table (they always said it was a miracle when i did lol), miss training, miss being in the team. The only thing we had to worry about then was studies, training and the team (actually that is a lot to worry about). But this year's so uncertain, everything's so unexpected. I'm half scared, half excited, and the days are slipping past, too fast I really feel. Faith! Need to have faith and courage. And to stick to my new year resolution (:
