Chasing Pavements

Its been many days since i last blogged, mainly because nothing has been happening in my life. I've started training again with mountbatten, running and gym sessions and canoeing. nice people, plus there's delle and xiaoting (: nothing can ever beat the nj senior girls team though, always 9 + 1 in a dragon boat. its really hard building up my fitness again, running has become a torture again, and i cant do a single pull up anymore! glady i am not going to turn into hulk, more like im green blob now.

work has been okay. surprisingly, sitting in an office the whole day can be very tiring! and really boring sometimes because i cannot do my own stuff when i have nothing to do. so the past week, i have been checking my university status on joint acceptance. a part of me wanted my status to forever stay pending so that i wouldnt see fass staring out at me. anyway finally it changed and yes, i was posted to fass, so no medicine or dentistry. i've known that my chances of getting in were very low, considering my grades and that i didnt think my interview went that well, but well, when reality hit it was still very disappointing. gotta decide now if i want to appeal because the chances are the slimmest of slim and i might be chasing something that wasnt meant for me. this whole university application process has left me trying my best many times but not achieveing the results. j-j-j-jaded

so, smu or nus econs. initially i was more inclined to smu, but after talking to people, nus seems better. well, we'll see over the next few days! maybe taking econs would work out better for me in the future, just that i wouldnt know it now.

next week is going to be a busy week! the past two weeks were really slack and quiet. meeting up with theo (Finally :D), bcme going to ps cafe at paragon to visit tis who is waitressing! hahaha everyone go visit tis! training, church, catechist conference.

OH and i watched Wolverine last week. first action hero show ive watched besides spiderman! hahaha. everyone tells me its a crime not to have watched Batman, or Lord of the Rings. Angels and Demons up next!
