So so so much has happened since I last blogged.
1) Birthday surprises and celebrations were fantawesome (fantastic and awesome)! How can any other year top the 19th! THANK YOU ALL(:
2) CSS FOC camp was good. Met new friends and seniors that will hopefully make the bidding process much easier (after hearing so much about how tough bidding is).
3) St Paul the musical. Cheers to all the hard work put in! The play was okay but I thought the songs, all orginal, and the voices were just awesome and so lifting. Cannot wait to get the soundtracks!
4) Sports camp 09! With my usual 'don't feel like going for camps' feelings and certain preconceptions about the camp, I wasn't looking forward to camp. But as usual camp was quite a blast. Sports try outs, cable skiing, wind surfing, woofball, zorb ball, weird stilt like things, paintball. Pool games, canoe polo! GAMES. Many games. The councillors had an amazing number of games to get us hyped and gelled together. Mass dance, secret pal (Speed dating, as I would rather call it. Delle knows why I don't like SP ah). Night cycling, amazing race, rollar blading. Accomodations there were at most bearable. Every night we trudged back to our rooms, totally plonked and slept at about 2am plus. Everthing's jumbled up because I can't remember what we did on what day. Of course, the greatest og and councillors! Without them sports camp would not have been so great. So here's to Leng Zai! We are Zai! :D And Delle who made sports camp so much better (:
Had to end the camp prematurely in masks. H1n1 caught up with some people in camp and so everyone had to be sent home and quarantined for 7 days. Totally. Anti. Climax.
Today - 6 DAYS DOWN!
I cannot believe I have not stepped out of the house in 6 days, save for a short run I had last night. Have been preoccupying myself with sleeping late and waking up late, grey's, harry potter, facebook, youtube, a bit of packing (probably 5% of the 6days hahaha). I declare the red couch in my living room officially mine because I have been sitting, sleeping on it for the past 5 days and growing fat. The 6 days haven't been that bad. Life's been moving at 200km/h the past few weeks and I've just been going along, no time to slow down, so I actually didn't dread the quarantine that much. I love being busy and having many things to do and many plans to carry out (well prolonged slacking will make me feel that I'm wasting my life) but sometimes I feel that I need to step back, slow down, be away from people for awhile, enjoy quiet time and be at home. As Jo said before - hermit? Hahaha. I would call it recharge. At the very least, I do not have to go to work!!! Can't wait to stop work next friday.
So I'm recharged! Can't wait for the plans ahead. Starting tonight, transformers! Meetups with my secondary school friends, BCME, Hearts on Fire rally, Tioman :D and the days ahead when I've stopped work. But really not looking forward to school. Haha.
To delle: You'll live through the 4 more days! Beat your word drop high score hahaha. Love you (:
